As a sub to DB Construction, we’re providing lights and power to a new Stillyard MCC room. The equipment in the new room is powered by us under a separate contract to GAF.
This $300k plus job is to supply 1000 kva of power to the new Stillyard MCC gear. The work scope includes underground parallel 4” ductbanks, cable tray, and exposed conduit up to 4”. The new gear includes a 2000 amp disconnect, main switchboard, two MCCs, two panels and transformers, and an 800 amp transfer switch.
Install underground 3” parallel conduits and wire from the Stillyard transfer switch to the new generator location.
To facilitate the needs of the new Briquette project we upgraded the existing conduit and wire to the RAS MCC with 600 amps of new 480V power.
Provide power for two new air compressors of 40hp and 150hp.
New feed for a Filler Rotary Valve, Power for the new HTM pump, Backend rectifier change, Re-feed the B-300 blower, and replace four DC drives with VFDs.
